Specialty Diver

Dive with a mission. The PADI AWARE Specialty Diver course gives you the skills and knowledge to protect the ocean on a broad scale. You’ll learn about threats to marine ecosystems, how to monitor underwater environments, and how to take action that benefits oceans globally.

Become an ocean ambassador. Through theory and practical exercises, you’ll identify marine species, conduct environmental assessments, and participate in citizen science programs, helping gather valuable data for worldwide conservation initiatives.

Requirements to enroll:

• Minimum age 10 years

• Certified PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)

Theory:
Complete the PADI eLearning at your own pace, covering marine ecosystems, human impacts on oceans, and conservation strategies. Instructors are available to answer any questions.

Practical training:
Dive activities focus on environmental surveys, species identification, and data collection, giving you hands-on experience in monitoring and reporting on ocean health.

What you’ll be qualified to do:
After certification, you’ll be a PADI AWARE Specialty Diver, equipped to participate in global conservation projects, make informed decisions underwater, and act as an ambassador for ocean protection.
