Rescue Diver

Take your diving skills to the next level and become a more confident, capable diver.

The PADI Rescue Diver Course is designed for divers who want to be prepared for anything underwater. You’ll learn how to prevent and manage problems, respond to emergencies, and assist other divers, all while improving your own skills and confidence.

Requirements to enroll:

  • Be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)

  • Be at least 12 years old (Junior Rescue Diver for ages 12–14)

  • Have a current CPR and first aid certification (within the last 24 months)

  • Complete the medical questionnaire and waiver

 

Theory:
The course includes eLearning at home, in your own time, so you can learn the rescue principles before practical training. If you have any questions, our instructors are always available to help.

 

Practical training:
On the water, you’ll practice rescue techniques, self-rescue skills, and emergency response scenarios. You’ll complete exercises in both confined water, on the surface, and during 2 open water dives - learning to recognize, prevent, and manage potential problems safely.

 

What you’ll be qualified to do:
Upon certification, you’ll be a PADI Rescue Diver, equipped to handle diving emergencies confidently and assist other divers, enhancing both your safety and the safety of those around you.
