Adventure Diver
Looking to build your skills without committing to a full advanced program? The PADI Adventure Diver Course is a great way to gain experience and confidence while exploring different types of diving.
The Adventure Diver course allows you to try three adventure dives under the guidance of a certified PADI Instructor. You’ll experience new dive environments and specialties, such as navigation, deep diving, or peak performance buoyancy, giving you a taste of the broader world of scuba diving.
Requirements to enroll:
-
Be a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
-
Be at least 12 years old (Junior Adventure Diver for ages 12–14)
-
Complete the medical questionnaire and waiver
Theory:
Before hitting the water, you’ll complete eLearning at home, in your own time, covering the knowledge needed for your chosen adventure dives. Instructors are available to answer any questions as you go.
Practical training:
You’ll complete three adventure dives onsite, practicing skills and applying knowledge in real conditions. Typically, depending on your chosen dives, this may include confined water sessions to fine-tune techniques - however we choose to include a confined session as a standard.
What you’ll be qualified to do:
Upon completion, you’ll be a PADI Adventure Diver, having gained experience in three adventure dive specialties. You can continue your training to Advanced Open Water Diver by completing two additional adventure dives.
Take this course to expand your skills, explore new dive types, and prepare for your next underwater adventure!
