Ready to turn your passion for diving into a career or leadership role? The PADI Divemaster course is your first professional step in scuba diving, giving you the skills to lead and guide other divers while deepening your own knowledge and experience.
As a Divemaster, you’ll learn how to supervise dive activities, assist instructors with training, and organize safe, fun diving experiences. This course is ideal for those looking to build a professional diving career or simply take their personal diving to the next level.
Requirements to enroll:

Be a PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)

Be at least 18 years old

Have a minimum of 40 logged dives to start, and 60 dives to complete the course

Have a current CPR and first aid certification (within the last 24 months)

Complete the medical questionnaire and waiver
Theory:
You’ll complete knowledge development sessions, covering dive leadership, safety, and risk management. This includes self-study, group discussions, and instructor-led presentations to ensure you fully understand dive theory and professional responsibilities.
Practical training:
Practical exercises include water skills assessment, rescue and problem-solving scenarios, diver supervision, and guiding certified divers. You’ll also assist instructors with confined water and open water training sessions, putting your leadership skills into practice.
What you’ll be qualified to do:
Upon certification, you’ll be a PADI Divemaster, qualified to lead certified divers, assist instructors with student training, conduct dive briefings, and manage dive operations safely. You’ll also have the foundation to continue your professional journey toward Instructor level.
