By diving with enriched air — a mix with more oxygen and less nitrogen — you can extend your no-decompression limits, particularly at depths between 18 and 30m. Depending on your gas mix, that can mean up to 30–50% more bottom time compared to diving on regular air.

Requirements to enroll:

• Minimum age 12 years

• Certified PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)

Theory:
You’ll complete the PADI eLearning in your own time from home, learning how to plan Nitrox dives, manage oxygen exposure, and understand the relationship between oxygen percentage and depth limits. Our instructors are always on hand if you have questions along the way.

Practical training:
You’ll get hands-on experience analysing your gas mixes, setting your dive computer for enriched air, and planning dives within safe exposure limits. This course can be completed entirely as a dry certification, perfect for busy schedules or for divers wanting to qualify before their next trip However, you can also choose to add two optional Nitrox dives to apply what you’ve learned in the water.

What you’ll be qualified to do:
After certification, you’ll be a PADI Enriched Air Diver, qualified to dive with Nitrox blends of up to 40% oxygen - giving you longer dives, shorter surface intervals, and more time to explore.
