The PADI Boat Diver course helps you get comfortable diving from all types of boats, from small RIBs to large liveaboards, and makes your time on the water smoother, safer, and a lot more fun.

Requirements to enroll:

• Minimum age 10 years

• Certified PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)

Theory:
You’ll complete the PADI eLearning in your own time, learning boat-specific procedures such as entries and exits, stowage and equipment setup, and boat terminology and etiquette. You’ll also review safety practices, navigation from a moving platform, and how to plan dives from various types of boats.

Practical training:
Over two open water dives, you’ll put theory into practice - mastering entries and exits, setting up your gear efficiently in tight spaces, and learning the flow of a well-run boat dive. Our instructors will also cover techniques for drift diving, surface signaling, and safe gear handling on deck.

What you’ll be qualified to do:
After certification, you’ll be a PADI Boat Diver, confident diving from charter boats, liveaboards, and RIBs anywhere in the world. You’ll understand how to work with crew, manage your space, and make every boat dive easier and more enjoyable.
